I booked an appointment with Mike and couldn't have had a better experience. He was actually enthusiastic to cut my hair. He gave me exactly what I was looking for and had a lot of great feedback and suggestions along the way. I now have a mullet that I feel like I could take over a small country with. All the staff were friendly and the shop had a great vibe. I will definitely be going back.
This is a cool barber shop located in a great area. You can tell they have a solid client base by how friendly everyone is. Prices are fair and their online reservation system is easy to use. I just had my hair cut here for the first time as a new customer. My experience was a bit different because I (unknowingly) booked with a new barber who was two weeks into working there. The other's were coaching him along the way and I tried my best to reassure him it was all good. He could still use some training but I'm sure he'll get the hang of it soon. Another barber needed to step in to finish my cut because I was there for a long time and wasn't completely satisfied. He did a fantastic job quickly, and I left there with a great haircut, and the new guy had an opportunity to learn. I would come back because I knew the other barbers were experienced, and I don't want to base my review strictly on the new barbers cut. I just wish I knew ahead of time that this was the case, and perhaps offered a discount for the cut since he was in training.
Chris always does a great job. He is extremely professional, but also is very friendly, easy going, and always gives me a great haircut. Chris is always very punctual as well. I highly recommend seeing Chris and Elmwood Barbershop if you in need of an awesome Barber and Barbershop.
I booked my first appointment with Mitch at Elmwood Barber Shop a little over a year ago. I was looking for a place closer to home. I am still a regular customer. Mitch is a brilliant barber and a wonderful conversationalist. The atmosphere is laid back and professional. Booking online is simple and straight forward. I have never had anything less than an excellent hair cut and beard trim here. Heavy recommendation!
